"Neighborhoods": Tremé, New Orleans, LA

The Tremé neighborhood has the distinction of being known as the oldest African American neighborhood in America. It is where many important events happened that have chartered the course of Black American history. It is home to Armstrong Park, a memorial to Louis Armstrong, the world-renowned jazz legend. St. Augustine Church has had several well-known historical figures as its members.
